Other information:

 

At a ZBA hearing by CLWC seeking enforcement of the zoning bylaw to stop this project, a member of the Selectboard spoke at the public hearing in support of the mining operator. The Selectboard member is now chair of the Selectboard, which appoints the member of the ZBA. The state conflict of interest law prohibits public officials from advocating for private businesses.
